| Sydney is definitely an urban paradise with great hardware (the ocean, bush, weather usually) but must admit I sometimes miss the software of London; the humour, understatement, self-deprecation, the cosy pubs.. but definitely not the winter!
Home now and am lucky to have some close friends to have a laugh with.
I keep quite active. I run and play tennis competitively. Other times I enjoy sitting in a cafe with a coffee reading the newspaper or a good book.
While I appreciate finer things, ultimately they are not that important.I find simple (and guilty) pleasures more sustaining; like a bush or beach walk, a barbeque or picnic with good company and a glass of something.
Just lazing on the beach reading in the late afternoon sun or watching a dvd at home... |
